The speed is controlled by the motor controller in the test stand. If the speed display is not correct first clean the opto disk. To check speed measure the time it takes to travel a fixed distance. Distance / time = speed. If speed is not correct clean the opto reader with an air supply. Inspect the opto disk. Replace the opto disk then the opto reader.
