Tensile test on plastic

This classic tensile test performed with our 95T series shows the importance of determining the pourcentage of elongation of your sample when you have to choose a test stand. In this example we start with a 2" sample and the break is at more than 9".
Using our software CTAP, you can also calculate automatically the modulus of elasticity as well as the elongation or the break force.
